The root matrix is a complex bio-active system rich in Chlorine, Trimethylamine, and resinous content. Crucially, it contains high natural concentrations of Fluoride and Silica (natural abrasives). The volatile oil fraction is dominated by Benzyl isothiocyanate, providing potent bacteriocidal activity against cariogenic pathogens like Streptococcus mutans.
